Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver the highest quality routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include care management, ADLs, documentation in EMR, reporting changes, and maintaining a warm, safe environment on the unit. Education includes a high school diploma and CNA in good standing; English proficiency is required. Working weekends/evenings/holidays is required as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Care management and daily nursing care per Charge Nurse.
• Maintain Plan of Care for residents.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and hydration.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care.
• Observe skin integrity and report pressure areas or breakdowns.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required.
• Provide daily rehabilitative/restorative procedures.
• Create a warm, personal environment on the unit.
• Answer resident calls promptly.
• Maintain rooms and equipment clean, sanitary, and safe; follow infection control.
• Attend care conferences and departmental meetings.
• Document entries in EMR and report changes in resident condition.
