Job summary

The Medication Assistant (MA) at Good Samaritan in Tyndall provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will handle basic healthcare needs, support with activities of daily living, and document care outcomes in alignment with the care plan.

Administer prescribed medications under supervision and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA/CNA certification per state requirements.
• Active CNA registration in state of practice or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• State-specific requirements: CMA/CMA or CMA certification as applicable in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care and medication administration.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, and mobility; support wellness and recreational activities.

Education
