Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall, SD is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse's supervision. You will support basic health care tasks, range of motion, and dining experiences while documenting outcomes and communicating changes in condition.

This PRN role requires a minimum of 3 months in long-term care, a high school diploma or GED, and state-specific CMA certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Active CMA/TMA certification as required by state where you work may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care and medication administration.
• Assist with transfers, vital signs, and activities of daily living as needed.
