Job summary

Mercy Home Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Amberly Village Physicians. The CMA collaborates with the primary care physician to deliver patient care, reviews health records, measures vital signs, and prepares treatment rooms for examinations.

Requires High School Diploma or GED and CMA certification from recognized bodies. One year of MA experience preferred; two years of clerical in a physician’s office preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active CMA certification or equivalent MA certification from recognized bodies.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community with excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts ensuring records are up to date.
• Measure vital signs such as pulse, blood pressure, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, stock supplies, track referrals, answer phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
