Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Amberly Village Physicians. The CMA will work closely with the primary care physician to deliver patient care, review and update health records, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

This role also involves clerical duties, inventory checks, referrals tracking, and phone coverage, with a focus on respectful patient service. Candidates with MA certification and CPR/BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the following (required).
• BLS/CPR certification required at hire for select locations.
• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience preferred.
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients and the community respectfully.
• Prepares and reviews patient charts for upcoming visits and verifies records are up to date.
• Measures vital signs such as pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight and height.
• Performs clerical duties: inventory, stock supplies, track referrals, answer phones.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly; supports team in daily operations.
