Job summary

Proactive MD in the United States seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and clerical operations in alignment with our patient-first promise. The CMA assists providers, performs tests and procedures, and helps engage patients in care.

This role contributes to a team centered on compassionate, high-quality service. The CMA will handle vital signs, patient preparation, basic clerical tasks, and documentation within a busy health/wellness center, with emphasis on safety and patient

Qualifications

• Must be able to draw blood and perform related tasks.
• Associate degree preferred; CMA certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience with pediatric patients.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with diverse groups.
• HIPAA knowledge and privacy compliance.
• Certification in hearing testing or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interviews patients, records vitals, and prepares exam rooms.
• Performs clerical duties (phones, records, filing).
• Manages supplies and maintains a clean, orderly environment.
• Documents encounters and transcribes orders as directed by provider.
