Job summary

Proactive MD is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and clerical operations at our health and wellness center. The CMA will assist providers, perform selected tests, manage patient interactions, and help with outreach as directed by the Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities include drawing blood, measuring vitals, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining records. A high school diploma is required; CMA certification is preferred; BLS certification is required; experience

Qualifications

• Draw blood and perform clinical tasks under supervision.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records data.
• Maintain patient records and handle basic clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs; prepare treatment rooms.
• Assist with treatments ordered by provider; document encounters.
• Transcribe orders for lab tests, radiology, and medications.
• Maintain supplies and a clean, orderly environment.
• Perform basic clerical duties and phone work.
