Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed certification as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR Certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, computer competency, transcription, and typing skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work with terminally ill patients.
• English proficiency and flexible hours including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in clinical care and assessments within a multidisciplinary team.
• Assists with direct patient care and supports terminally ill patients with discretion.
• Provides clinical support to patients and staff.
• Performs office duties: typing, scheduling, processing forms.
• Monitors clinical equipment and supplies.
• Protects patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
