Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed certification as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR Certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, computer competency, transcription, and strong typing skills needed.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and maturity to work with terminally ill patients.
• English proficiency and flexible hours, including possible weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in performing clinical care and assessment across patient populations.
• Assists with direct patient care, showing maturity when handling terminally ill patients.
• Provides clinical support to patients and staff.
• Provides office support, including typing, scheduling, and processing forms.
• Monitors clinical equipment and supplies.
• Protects patient confidentiality and rights.
• Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
