Job summary

IU Health in Daleville, IN seeks compassionate healthcare team players to join our clinic support staff. You will room patients, handle intake, process paperwork, and support providers during visits, with accurate Cerner documentation and front-office tasks.

Under supervision, you’ll perform phlebotomy, basic lab work, and manage patient messages and referrals. A CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC or MA program background and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred with basic lab skills.
• High school diploma required; MA program preferred.
• MA certifications CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC or MA program background.
• Knowledge of OSHA/ CLIA guidelines and ICD-10 coding.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Documenting in Cerner and maintaining medical records.
• Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Registering and scheduling per procedures and policies.
