Job summary

IU Health Noblesville is seeking a patient-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced clinic setting. The role includes rooming patients, handling messages and paperwork, and assisting with both clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate has phlebotomy experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Cerner EMR; CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification is preferred. High school diploma required, MA program preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner preferred.
• Phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and prior authorization experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and support teammates.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Documenting in Cerner.
• Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Managing patient messages.
• Processing prior authorizations.
• Scanning and maintaining medical records.
• Preparing exam rooms and supporting clinic workflow.
