Job summary

South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care (SCVSEC) is seeking a compassionate Client Service Representative to be the first and last contact for clients. You will support a 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital and help guide families through check-in, treatment, and discharge with care and professionalism.

Competitive pay ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, service-minded candidate with strong client interaction skills.
• Previous veterinary client service experience preferred.
• Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and clear communication in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional experiences for clients, patients, and referring partners.
• Guide clients through check-in, treatment, and discharge processes.
• Answer and prioritize calls with empathy and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate client/patient records and audit EMR entries.
• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.
