Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. in Middle Island, NY, is seeking a Client Care Specialist to be the first point of contact for veterinary clinics and pet parents. You’ll guide conversations with empathy, professionalism and care to ensure pets are cared for with dignity while families receive support.

The role is an on-site, full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package, paid training and opportunities for growth. Previous customer service is preferred, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to stay calm in emotionally sensitive situations.
• Detail-oriented with professional empathy and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinary clinics and pet parents by phone, email and in person.
• Answer questions with empathy and professionalism.
• Accurately enter service requests and special instructions.
• Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure every promise is fulfilled.
• Support pet parent viewings and order pickups when required.
• Resolve concerns promptly while maintaining customer confidence.
• Help create a compassionate experience for every family we serve.
