Job summary

The Catholic Cemeteries Association of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland seeks a Family Service Representative to educate families about burial products, guide pre-need and at-need planning, and develop strong relationships through consultative sales.

You will work with Funeral Directors, Pre-Planning Coordinators, and the Director of Sales to present options, prepare contracts, and support families through the decision process at cemetery locations and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sales, marketing, business development, or related field.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, appointments, and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist families with cemetery burial needs on a pre-need or at-need basis through a consultative sales approach.
• Conduct family appointments, sales presentations, and follow-up meetings to identify needs and recommend cemetery products and services.
• Present cemetery options, explain pricing and payment options, complete sales contracts and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports.
• Develop relationships with families, Funeral Directors, clergy, and community partners.
• Generate new opportunities through outside sales, events, and referrals.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Pre-Planning Coordinator to meet sales goals.
