Job summary

The Catholic Cemeteries Association of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland is seeking a Family Service Representative to educate families about cemetery burial options and guide them through pre-need and at-need arrangements.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will conduct consultations, present options, prepare contracts, and maintain strong relationships with families, Funeral Directors, and community partners while representing CCA with professionalism at various events and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or related field.
• One to three years of sales, customer service, relationship management, or business development experience.
• Cemetery, funeral, insurance, or consultative sales experience preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist families with cemetery burial needs on a pre-need or at-need basis through a compassionate, consultative sales approach.
• Conduct family appointments, sales presentations, and follow-up meetings to identify needs and recommend appropriate cemetery products and services.
• Present cemetery options, explain pricing and payment options, provide accurate pricing and credit information, and complete sales contracts and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity reports, inventory information, and required documentation.
