Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role emphasizes punctuality, a clean driving record, and adherence to LifeWise beliefs and training requirements.

As a part-time driver, you will maintain vehicle safety, perform inspections, and create a calm environment for students while ensuring safety rules are followed and transportation duties are carried out accurately.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active church involvement and alignment with LifeWise Faith statements.
• CDL license with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the site.
• Obey all traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Establish a safe, calm environment for children on board.
• Assist students entering/exiting and enforce safety rules.
• Complete any required LifeWise Academy training and participate as needed.
