Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students to and from the LifeWise site. You will ensure safe, punctual travel, maintain bus cleanliness and safety, and perform regular vehicle inspections.

Candidates must hold a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P), preferably School Bus endorsement, and have a clean driving record. You will pass background and drug tests, meet age requirements, and participate in our faith-based LifeWise community.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) and preferably School Bus endorsement (S).
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.
• Age 21–80; continuous CDL license for past three years; annual CDL documentation if >75.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise Academy Faith Statement.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the bus.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the vehicle; remain calm and caring.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and, if agreed, volunteer in LifeWise classroom.
