At Peace Health Care Agency, a Pennsylvania-based home care provider, is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to deliver one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship in clients' homes. You will follow each care plan to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year personal care experience preferred.
• TB testing proof required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Reliable transportation required.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one non-medical personal care and companionship.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and ADLs.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Offer companionship and social engagement to clients.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers per care plan.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
