Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency is actively seeking compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes, helping maintain dignity and independence.

Excellent communication, reliability, and empathy are essential. We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, free medical insurance, paid holidays, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, ADLs, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as per care plan; ensure safe movement.
• Provide medication reminders according to care plan.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands when applicable.
