Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency in Royersford, PA is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to help clients maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life in their own homes.

We seek caring individuals with at least 1 year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of personal care experience preferred
• Previous caregiving roles (PCA/HHA) a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform essential duties
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
• Must pass criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, dependable support based on each client's needs and care plan
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as applicable
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safe movement in the home
• Provide medication reminders per care plan
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands
