Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support for seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes.

As a Caregiver/PCA, you will help with bathing, grooming, ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders while fostering dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation and, if transporting clients, a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while following the client’s care plan.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support.
• Assist with bathing and grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Assist with dressing and ADLs to maintain client dignity and independence.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement throughout the home.
• Provide medication reminders per the care plan.
