Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to follow a client care plan. We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, and benefits including medical insurance, paid holidays,

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, or similar role is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship per the care plan.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and daily routines.
• Offer emotional support and encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement in the home.
• Provide medication reminders per the plan and required guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community activities when applicable.
