Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/Medication Manager to provide compassionate assistance to residents in our community and supervise medication administration. The role involves helping residents with daily activities while ensuring safety and dignity.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid, and the ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site. Experience in healthcare or geriatrics is preferred, with state-specific training as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site at community if not already certified.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population.
• Training per state requirements
• Must have current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and clean, as needed, both male and female residents by bed bath, shower and/or whirlpool.
• Follow medication administration protocols as identified for each individual resident.
• Assist in grooming of both male and female residents (teeth, shampooing/combing hair, nails, makeup, shaving, glasses).
• Make residents’ beds and change linens, clean room and closet, arrange room neatly.
• Answer emergency calls promptly.
• Assist residents with bedpan, urinal, and bedside commode or to bathroom as needed; check and change incontinent briefs regularly.
