StoryPoint Group is seeking a Caregiver/Medication Manager to provide compassionate, personal care for residents in our Ames, IA community. The role includes administering medications, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining residents’ dignity and safety.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and on-site capability to obtain Medication Manager certification if needed. Prior geriatrics experience is preferred and state-mandated training may apply.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site if not already certified.
• Prior healthcare, geriatrics or elderly care experience preferred.
• State requirements training may apply.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Bathe and assist residents with grooming as needed.
• Follow medication administration protocols for residents.
• Assist with daily activities and mobility and provide ROM as assigned.
• Maintain resident dignity and privacy per Resident Bill of Rights.
• Record vital signs and report abnormal findings to nurse or director.
• Assist with admission, transfers, and discharge preparations.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety of residents and staff.
