Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a Caregiver/Medication Manager to provide compassionate care for residents in our community. You will assist with daily activities, grooming, and medication administration while ensuring residents’ dignity and safety.

Typical duties include bed baths, vital sign checks, and transportation assistance as needed. CPR and First Aid certification are required, with state-specific training available on-site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site.
• Healthcare/geriatric experience preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population.
• Training per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and clean residents as needed (bed, shower, whirlpool).
• Follow medication administration protocols per resident.
• Assist in grooming (teeth, hair, nails, makeup, shaving).
• Make beds, change linens, keep room neat.
• Answer emergency calls promptly.
• Assist residents with bathroom needs and change incontinence briefs.
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities to nurse/Executive Director.
• Observe skin breakdown and report to nurse/Director immediately.
• Assist in transfers, positioning, ROM, and ADLs; use lifting devices.
• Support residents with activities and personal dignity.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge logistics.
• Complete daily assignment sheets and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties.
• Respond to emergencies and assist as needed.
