Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Medication Manager to support residents with day-to-day activities and medication administration in our community. The role requires maintaining dignity, following procedures, and assisting with daily living tasks, under supervision.

Responsibilities include personal care, routine health checks, and readiness for admissions and transfers, with a focus on resident safety and comfort. On-site training and cert updates will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site at community if not already certified.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population.
• Training per state requirements.
• Must have current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and clean residents by bed bath, shower and/or whirlpool.
• Follow medication administration protocols for each resident.
• Assist in grooming and personal care for residents.
• Make beds, change linens, and tidy rooms.
• Answer emergency calls promptly.
• Assist residents with bathroom needs and changing incontinence products.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nurse or director.
• Maintain resident privacy and dignity, follow Resident Bill of Rights.
• Provide activity programming and care for residents.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharge of residents.
