Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a Caregiver/Medication Manager to provide compassionate, personal care for residents in our community and to assist with medication administration. The role supports residents in day-to-day activities, daily living tasks, and health monitoring.

The position requires CPR and First Aid certification, and a High School Diploma or GED preferred, with on-site opportunity to obtain a Medication Manager certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site.
• Experience in Healthcare, Geriatrics, or elderly care preferred.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and clean residents as needed (bed bath, shower, whirlpool) for both genders.
• Follow medication administration protocols for each resident.
• Assist in grooming and personal care (teeth, hair, nails, makeup, glasses).
• Make beds, change linens, tidy rooms, and organize spaces.
• Answer emergency calls promptly.
• Assist residents with bedpan, urinal, bedside commode, or bathroom as needed.
• Record and report vital signs, height and weight, and notify nurse of any changes.
• Monitor skin condition and report any issues immediately.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, use lifting devices when needed; ensure safety.
• Support activity programming and daily routines for residents.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to infection control practices.
• Follow instructions and participate in standard daily duties as assigned.
