Job summary

INNOVATIVE ARBOR OAKS AT GREENACRES is seeking a compassionate and dependable team member to support residents in an assisted living environment. You will provide quality care, assist with daily living activities, and communicate attentively to promote dignity, safety, and independence.

You will collaborate with the care team, maintain accurate documentation, follow care plans and safety procedures, and help create a positive resident experience through respectful, patient, and professional

Qualifications

• Proven experience in assisted living, long‑term care, caregiving, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Medication administration experience preferred per state requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans, policies, and instructions accurately.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident‑focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer or documentation skills may be required.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Provide medication assistance in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to supervisor or clinical team.
• Support residents with routine tasks and encourage independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and observations.
• Respond to resident requests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Follow safety procedures, infection control practices, and emergency protocols.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming living environment.
• Collaborate with coworkers and other departments to meet resident needs.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
