Job summary

Arbor Landing at Surfside is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Resident Assistant to assist residents with activities of daily living, meals, and hygiene, while promoting independence in a heart-centered environment.

You will interact with residents, families, and team members with empathy, maintain safety and cleanliness, and participate in activities per the calendar. HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years' related experience preferred; HIPAA and privacy standards apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Serve meals and assist residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and associates in a compassionate manner.
