Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Morgantown, West Virginia is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with daily living activities and mobility. You will support activity programs, monitor resident status, and document care appropriately while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Candidates must hold a valid state CNA license and be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification within 60 days. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CNA license in the state of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist transfers safely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Respect for resident confidentiality and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Report care concerns to RN/LPN and document appropriately.
• Perform housekeeping in resident areas as directed.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Communicate status, admissions, and transfers in logs.
• Support move-in transitions with emotional support.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings; follow policies.
