Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Morgantown, WV is seeking a CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with daily living activities, support independence, and participate in community activities.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, documentation, and teamwork within a warm, professional community. A current CNA license and CPR/First Aid certification are required or pursued within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current CNA license in the state of the community.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with resident transfers.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide quality care.
• Conduct housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies; document appropriately.
• Communicate resident status and care needs verbally and in writing.
• Support move-in transitions and provide emotional support to new residents.
