Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. This PRN role focuses on dignity, safety, and outstanding customer service, delivering hands-on care with empathy.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meal assistance, and transportation, following individualized service plans. Prior caregiving experience and good English communication are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have current First Aid, CPR, and Medication Management Certifications (if required by state) and maintain through training and ongoing education as required.
• Food Handler’s Card preferred; training will be provided if required and not already held.
• Nurses Aid Certification preferred unless required by state.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining independence, dignity, safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Review shift reporting and ISP/lifestyle surveys at start of shift.
• Complete all resident assignments as directed in ISP during the shift.
• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, hygiene, mealtime activities, and continence products.
• Provide safe transport for residents and assist with transfers.
• Respond to resident behavioral expressions with compassion; follow up as directed.
• Lead resident program leadership and engagement assignments; promote participation.
• Complete housekeeping and laundry tasks for residents and the community.
