Addus HomeCare is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Idaho/S Mountain Home to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. This entry-level role offers flexible hours and a steady pay, while supporting a caring, value-driven organization that values your contribution and growth.

As a DSP, you will follow care plans, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and report any changes in condition. Prior home-care experience is helpful, but not required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary.
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring).
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition.
