Job summary

Vitality is seeking a Personal Care Specialist to join our care team in delivering compassionate assistance to residents. You will help with daily activities and basic treatments while observing safety and privacy standards in all interactions.

The role requires 18+ years of age, strong communication in English, and adherence to health regulations. You may participate in onboarding and ongoing training to stay aligned with care plans and team expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health-related requirements.
• Maintain certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and/or behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services for residents as indicated in service plans (e.g., laundry and pet care).
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings.
