Job summary

Heritage of Woodlands is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate resident care in a memory-focused setting. You will support daily living activities, assist with hygiene, mobility, and meals, and monitor health indicators under supervision, ensuring comfort and safety for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Memory Care experience preferred.
• Must complete 12 hours of continuing education.
• Must be fluent in English and able to read/interpret care plans.
• Ability to complete incident reports and basic documentation.
• Teamwork and collaboration with staff to support resident care.

Responsibilities

• Implements and supports resident care plan and assists with ADLs.
• Provides physical care including transfers, bathing, hygiene, and meals.
• Changes bed linens, laundry, and maintains room cleanliness.
• Records vital signs at intervals and reports changes to leadership.
• Facilitates resident activities and supports assimilation for new residents.
• Engages residents in conversations and meaningful activities.
• Completes incident reports for incidents during shift and responds to emergencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
