Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Memory Care Assistant to provide compassionate, consistent support to residents in our memory care neighborhood. You will assist with activities of daily living, participate in individual and group activities, and help with mealtime and light housekeeping to uphold dignity and independence.

Qualifications include experience with dementia, English proficiency, and a CNA/CHHA license if required by state.

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors with dementia preferred.
• Proficient English for daily duties and emergencies.
• May require CNA or CHHA license depending on state.
• Basic computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to Memory Care residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Assist with mealtime, laundry, and basic housekeeping in Memory Care.
• Address resident/family/employee concerns promptly.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents and staff.
