Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Upper Arlington, OH, is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and compassionate care aligned to each resident’s service plan. You will work closely with branch leadership to respond to changing resident needs and dementia care considerations.

This role offers a full suite of benefits with eligibility based on status, and daily pay is available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) course within six months of hire.
Willing to take additional training or education as state requires.
CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational and time management skills.
Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
Communicate appropriately with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
