Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents by delivering compassionate daily care and maintaining dignity. You will help with activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement, guided by individual service plans, in a branch setting.

The role emphasizes communication with branch clinical leadership, dementia-aware care, and a commitment to enriching residents’ lives while providing a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) course within six months of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Care for residents with dementia.
