Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and social engagement. You will follow individual care plans and communicate changes to the branch clinical team.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, maintaining resident dignity, and promoting life quality. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within a supportive community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional training or education as states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including ADLs, meal service, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to care for residents with dementia.
