Job summary

Cheer Home Care located in La Jolla, San Diego, seeks compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical home care to the elderly and disabled.

You will offer companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to appointments; duties include ADLs, light housekeeping, and dementia care. Shifts around 4 hours (9:00 AM–1:00 PM) with hourly pay of $25.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational & communication skills.
• Certifications preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and non-medical home care to elderly and disabled.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and light meal prep.
• Transport clients to medical appointments.
• Support dementia care, Alzheimer's care, Parkinson's care, hospice care as needed.
• Hourly and 24/7 care; light housekeeping and organization.
