Job summary

Cheer Home Care is actively hiring in-home caregivers to provide compassionate non-medical care for seniors and disabled adults in La Jolla, CA, and North County San Diego. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation, delivered with dignity and respect.

Expect competitive pay ranging from $23 to $27 per hour, with options for full-time or part-time schedules and weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Non-medical home care experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications such as CNA/HHA/CPR/First Aid/AED are preferred but NOT required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for seniors and disabled adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and light meals.
• Offer dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and hospice support as needed.
• Provide hourly care and light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and support up to 100–150 lbs.
• Drive clients to medical appointments with mileage reimbursement.
• Have a smartphone with internet access for scheduling and updates.
