Job summary

The Legacy at Trinidad in Trinidad, CO is hiring a full-time Caregiver to join our caring team. You will support residents with daily living activities, assist with mobility, and help maintain dignity and comfort under guidance of the Health & Wellness Director.

This role offers a Mon-Tue-Wed 6a-6p schedule, competitive pay, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K. Prior caregiving experience or First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification from a recognized organization.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing
• Support residents with stand-by assist transfers
• Provide quality personal hygiene care to residents
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing supervisor
• Apply infection control principles consistently during all care activities
• Adapt to changing needs and responsibilities as required
