Job summary

The Legacy at Trinidad is hiring a Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities under the guidance of our Health & Wellness Director. This full-time role runs Mon-Tue-Wed 6a-6p and offers opportunities to make a meaningful impact every day.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents' comfort, dignity and well-being, assist with transfers and hygiene, and respond promptly to call lights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification from a recognized organization.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing.
• Support residents with stand-by assist transfers.
• Provide quality personal hygiene care to residents.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing supervisor.
• Apply infection control principles consistently during all care activities.
• Adapt to changing needs and responsibilities as required.

About the Role:

As a Caregiver, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to positively impact our residents each day. Working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and under the guidance of our Health & Wellness Director, you’ll help ensure residents’ comfort, dignity, and well-being while contributing to their overall care plan. You’ll also serve as a positive representative of our facility’s commitment to compassionate care.
