Job summary

Legacy at Trinidad is seeking a Caregiver to assist residents with daily activities and provide compassionate care under the Health & Wellness Director. The role supports a multidisciplinary team and focuses on comfort, dignity, and well-being, while contributing to each resident’s care plan.

The position offers weekend and evening hours with wage at $17.00 per hour, and includes benefits such as health coverage, retirement planning, paid leave, and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing.
• Support residents with stand-by assist transfers.
• Provide quality personal hygiene care to residents.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing supervisor.
• Apply infection control principles consistently during all care activities.
• Adapt to changing needs and responsibilities as required.
