Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Salem, Oregon is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. You will work in a team-oriented environment to support a nurturing community.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, caregiver certification, and First Aid/CPR, with 12+ months of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements, such as CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, promoting independence and meaningful engagement.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and social interactions.
• Assist with light housekeeping and keeping residents' living areas clean and tidy.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
