Job summary

PACS in New York, NY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver routine daily nursing care to residents according to their assessment and care plan under supervision. You will identify residents before procedures, document observations, report changes promptly, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment while protecting residents’ privacy.

The role requires good communication, teamwork with nursing staff, and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state. CPR Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents per assessment and care plan.
• Identify residents before administering treatments or serving meals.
• Record entries accurately and report changes in condition promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with policies.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility as needed.
• Assist in transfers, positioning, and safety on the unit.
• Participate in nursing shift reports and follow directions from supervisors.
