Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, respectful environment.

The RA will support personal care tasks (hygiene, dressing, grooming), housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities, while coordinating with nursing staff to ensure residents’ well-being and comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant depending on state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry).
• Support residents with meals and social-recreational activities.
• Collaborate with the nursing department and other staff to ensure efficient, compassionate care.
• Assist families and residents to promote highest possible physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.
