Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Nurse Aide to support nursing staff in the 34102 Carolinas Medical Center - Nursing Float Pool. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a 7P-7A schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Pay ranges from $20.80 to $31.20 per hour, with benefits eligibility. You will assist with daily patient care, monitor vital signs, document in EMR, participate in admissions and discharges under RN supervision, and help with supplies and transport while

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Performs rounding under RN direction and communicates observations and needs to RN.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under RN supervision and manages room setup and belongings.
