Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Nurse Aide I or II registration as per state nursing board.
• BLS certification required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Takes vitals and records measurements.
• Assists with feeding, ambulation, and daily care per procedures.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and stocked, reports changes in condition.
• Orients patients and families to unit safety and procedures.
• Performs clerical tasks and maintains medical records as assigned.
• Supports equipment and inventory management; performs duties per Nurse Aide I/II scope.
• May perform ECGs and routine venipuncture with proper training.
