Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Nursing Float Pool: Office. This part-time role (24 hours per week) supports RNs in daily patient care and documentation in EMR, with opportunities to contribute to admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED/HSED, current Nurse Aide registration, and BLS certification within 45 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Team members maintain annual hospital certifications (DNV, CARF or others).
• Basic computer skills and strong communication and organization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care, incl. bathing, feeding, mobility.
• Record vital signs and document data in EMR.
• Perform rounds and promptly communicate observations to RN.
• Support admission/transfer/discharge processes and room setup.
